They’re in the Money Honey

No big winner in BC for Lotto 649, however it’s a different story in the US.  Lottery officials say two tickets have won the estimated $750 million Powerball jackpot.

All six numbers in Saturday night’s drawing were matched according to Powerball officials. They confirm tickets purchased in Iowa and New York.

The jackpot is the fourth-largest in U.S. history.

Just in case you somehow managed to score a ticket and wanted to see if you were even close…the winning numbers were 8, 12, 13, 19 and 27, and Powerball 4.

Lottery officials say one ticket was sold at Casey’s General Store in Redfield, Iowa and the other was sold at West Harlem Deli in New York.  (both below)

This just four days after someone scored a mind-numbing $1.537 billion Mega Millions jackpot, the second-largest lottery prize. The ticket was sold in South Carolina.

The odds of winning the Powerball jackpot are one in 292.2 million.
