RDCO Election Results Official; Voter Turnout 6%

Voter turnout for the Regional District of Central Okanagan’s West Electoral Area election was almost non-existent.

Incumbent Wayne Carson (pictured) has officially been declared the winner after receiving  292 votes (58.2%), 82 more than John Michael Cole (41.8%).

Just 6 percent of the 7807 eligible voters cast ballots.

In the Central Okanagan East Electoral Area, Mark Bartyik was acclaimed as Director.
