Armstrong Election Results Official; 22% Turnout

The City of Armstrong has made the results of its civic election official.

A total of 864 voters cast ballots, which works to a 22 percent turnout of the 3,854 eligible voters.

The low turnout could be a result of no mayor’s race with Chris Pieper acclaimed to a fourth term.

The new council which includes 5 incumbents and newcomer Jim Wright, will hold its inaugural meeting the night of Oct. 30th.
