Lake Country Water Advisory Lifted

The District of Lake Country in conjunction with Interior Health has lifted the water quality advisory effective immediately on the Okanagan Water Source.

Power has now been restored to the Okanagan Lake pumphouse, the system has been checked and normal operations have resumed.

The advisory was issued yesterday due to a power outage following the overnight storm.

An emergency water supply from the Beaver Lake was set up for customers until the Okanagan Lake system could be turned back on.
