Man Found Dead Behind Library

Vernon RCMP and the BC Coroners Service are investigating what’s being called the sudden death of a man in downtown Vernon this morning.

Police and BC Ambulance were called to the rear of the public Library on 30th Avenue about a man on the ground.

He was unresponsive when approached and found to be deceased.

Police say the identity and age of the man is not known.

They say his death is not considered suspicious.

No other details are going to be released.
