Kal Lake Water Turned On

Greater Vernon residents probably won’t notice much difference, but the Kalamalka Lake water source has been turned back on.

The regional district says it was put back in service today.

“The decision to turn the Kalamalka Lake water source back on is based on reduced turbidity and good ultra violet disinfection levels,”  says a media release.

It means homes and businesses are now being supplied by both the Duteau Creek and Kal Lake water sources.
