Stanley Cup Makes Appearance at Saskatoon Hospital For Recovering Broncos
One week to the day after the horrific crash involving the Humboldt Broncos, the Stanley Cup visited the hospital bedsides of the Broncos still recovering.
Ryan Straschnitzki’s father spotted the cup in the waiting area of the hospital and immediately recognized the box from Stanley Cup presentations
Tom Straschnitzki says Ryan’s bed was the first stop, and he says his son’s eyes grew wide as it was carried in.
Ryan was really interested in seeing Jonathan Toews name. The Chicago Blackhawks forward visited the hospital earlier in the day to deliver jerseys the Hawks and Jets wore last weekend with Broncos nameplates on them.
