Centre Considered For Grant

The Greater Vernon Advisory Committee will consider providing a grant to the Caetani Cultural Centre in Vernon.

The 120 year old house on Pleasant Valley Road has requested 35-thousand dollars to help with asbestos removal and electrical upgrades from their building which will open to the public in June.

The group will be asked to formally apply for a grant, which will go through the normal review process.

Susan Brandoli from the Centre told GVAC in March, the funding would also allow greater community access and additional opportunities for fundraising.
