Wenatchee Goes Wild On Snakes

The Wenatchee Wild owned the Vernon Vipers last night in game four of their BCHL playoff in Wenatchee.

The Wild winning 7 – 1 to even the series at two games each.

The Wild’s offense peppered the Vipers with 39 shots throughout the game.

Wenatchee took the lead late in the first on a goal from Aj Vanderbeck and never looked back.

Josh Arnold added 2 goals and Sam Morton delivered for his team with 2 goals and1 assist.

During the first, Arnold opened the scoring for Wenatchee with a goal at 13:21 with a helper from his teammate Jackson Wozniak.

Vanderbeck put in what turned out to be the game winning goal at 19:20 with assists from his linemates, Jasper Weatherby and Lucas Sowder.

In the second, Murphy Stratton deposited a goal at 1:02 with a helper from Vanderbeck.

Josh Latta finally put the Vipers on the board with a goal at 11:06 with assists from Michael Young and Derek Brown.

Sam Morton answered for Wenatchee with a goal at 18:53 with a helper from his linemate Nathan Iannone.

During the third period, Morton netted a goal at 10:17 with assists from August Von Ungern and Jacob Modry.

Sam Hesler put in a goal at 13:40 with a helper from Matt Dorsey.

Josh Arnold scored a goal at 17:47 with assists from his linemates, Sowder and Morton.

Austin Park as he stopped 19 of the 20 shots he faced in the Wenatchee net.

Ty Taylor managed to stop 24 of 28 shots for the Vipers.

Anthony Yamnitsky was good for 8 of 11.
