Veteran Okanagan Musician Has Equipment Stolen

One of the Okanagan’s veteran guitar players is missing a significant amount of gear after a gutsy theft he believed happened early this past week.

Tim Reardon of The Young’Uns told Beach Radio News, that he had many expensive pieces of gear brazenly taken from his garage on Highway 6 just outside of Lumby.

This is no different than stealing tools from a mechanic, as this is his livelihood. Reardon said “They seemed to know what to grab as the top end stuff was selected.”  The only positive side to this is that Reardon had contents insurance, but by the time that is rectified and items replaced, he will have had to play many gigs without his ‘A’ line gear.

Like anybody who has experienced a break-in, he does feel his personal home and possessions were violated. He will be much more careful moving forward.
