Oscars Handed Out Tonight

It’s the 90th Academy Awards ceremony tonight and organizers hope people will forget their most infamous blunder from last year.

Viewers watched in total disbelief as Faye Dunaway and Warren Beatty mistakenly announced “La La Land,” not “Moonlight,” as the best picture.

It wasn’t anything they did…they were just following their cue cards. It was due to an error by accounting firm PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Canadians have their eyes set on picking up some of the coveted golden statuettes.  “The Shape of Water,” which was filmed in Hamilton and Toronto, is nominated for an impressive 13 Oscars.
