Kelsey Serwa Suffers Concussion

Kelsey Serwa, Olympic champion in women’s ski cross has had an unfortunate incident in the first World Cup event after Pyeongchang.

The Kelowna based champion says on Instagram, she has suffered a minor concussion after crashing into the safety netting on the course at Sunny Valley ski resort in Russia.

The Kelowna, B.C., native said she would not be racing any more for this weekend.

Serwa, who took silver in Sochi four years earlier, captured gold at the 2018 Olympic Winter Games.
