Armstrong Family of Six, All Safe, Loses Everything in Fire

The cause of a house fire in Armstrong Friday night remains under investigation, although at this stage of the investigation,  it’s not considered suspicious in nature.

Firefighters arrived at the home in Highland Park shortly after 11 p.m. says Fire Chief Ian Cummings,  where his crews quickly knocked down the fire.

He confirmed the family of six were able to get out safely, pets included…but the house has significant fire, smoke and water damage.

The cause of the blaze remains undetermined, as officials continue to review the evidence.
