Vernon House Fire

Vernon firefighters were called out just 5:30 this morning to a house fire in the 6900 block of Cummins Road.

Acting Fire Chief David Lind tells Beach Radio News the fire was going strong when they got there.

“First crews on scene found fairly extensive fire involvement. So they called out a general alarm. We had three apparatus respond and about fifteen firefighters.”

The fire is out and it’s too soon to say how it started,.
