There is a new weapon in the battle to control the invasive milfoil weed in Okanagan lakes.
The Okanagan Basin Water Board says a new rototiller, built by a Kelowna company, should be ready for use by April.
It will be used over the winter along with three older machines, to de-root the weeds.
In summer, the weed is mowed and removed with special harvesters.
