Update: Road Closed Due To Snow Reopens

UPDATE Nov. 10 6:30 am

RCMP say the road has reopened.

Nov. 9: 5:08 pm

RCMP have closed Baker Hogg Road in Vernon at both the top and bottom due to extremely hazardous winter conditions.

Sgt. Tory Romailler says the road, which is located east of Highway 97 in the BX area, is unpassable at this time and motorists are asked to avoid trying to use it until further notice.

“The road will be barricaded and motorists should respect these for their own safety.  Vernon RCMP will update when the road is reopened,” says Romailler.
