Crash Claims Man’s Life

A 62 year old Salmon Arm man has died in a highway crash in the Shuswap.

RCMP say a Toyota Tacoma collided with a loaded semi on a straight stretch of the Trans Canada near Salmon Arm Monday afternoon.

The driver of the Toyota died at the scene.

The male driver of the semi truck from Kamloops wasn’t injured.

“Members of the Trans Canada East Traffic Services unit continue to investigate the cause of this collision and are assisting the B.C. Coroners Service,” says Cpl. Dan Moskaluk.
