Kamloops Police Identify Shooter

Kamloops RCMP Serious Crimes Unit have identified the male suspect they are looking for in connection to the firearms incident at the Tournament Inn on Saturday evening.

In the interest of public safety and to further the police investigation, Kamloops RCMP are confirming they are seeking Michael Shawn BOYER.  BOYER is described as:  Caucasian, 6’1”, 180 lbs, short buzz cut brown hair.  (See attached photo.) He is a 41 year old resident of Kamloops.

BOYER is considered armed and dangerous.  If you see BOYER do not approach him, call 911.
