Early Start For Ski Season

All the new snow this week has been good for cross country skiers.

The Sovereign Lake Nordic Club opens for its new season Saturday, one of the earliest openings the club has had.

The club had earlier been hoping to start on Nov. 18.

The area has received close to 40 centimetres of snow since Thursday.

Silver Star is targeting its downhill opening for Nov. 23.
