Rafe Mair, Vancouver Broadcaster Dies at 85
The Twitter account belonging to Rafe Mair has confirmed the former B.C. broadcaster has died at the age of 85.
The broadcasting giant, known for not being afraid to speak his mind, was well-respected by mostly everyone in the industry.
From 1975-81 Mair was a So-Cred MLA and a strong outspoken critic of salmon farming in B.C.
He began working with CKNW (shown in photo) as a political commentator following his departure from politics.
