Winds Knock Out Thousands Of BC Hydro Customers

Damaging winds last night caused multiple outages to customers in Golden, Salmon Arm, and Revelstoke.
More than eight thousand people were left without power as trees and power lines came down.
The Trans Canada Highway was closed for a while in Salmon Arm when a tree brought power lines down onto the road.
Hydro Crews worked through the night to bring as many customers back on line as they could.
