New Hours For Vernon Evacuee Centre

The Emergency Social Services reception centre located in the Dogwood Gym of the Vernon Recreation Centre will have new hours starting Monday.

It’s switching from 8 am to 8pm to 9 am to 7pm.

Evacuees who arrive after hours can call 250-309-0638.

The Centre has registered 881 evacuees from the Cariboo region in the last week.

Evacuees are reminded to visit the reception centre every week to extend services.
