A Vernon incident police described as ‘mayhem’ has led to 11 charges being laid against a suspect.
A car crashed into a rock on Tronson Road the evening of July 11, with a man and woman seen fleeing the vehicle.
The man proceeded to steal a bicycle from a nearby home, and then drove off in a large commercial truck which was parked and running on the roadside.
The truck was then backed into a parked SUV, and driven backwards at a high rate of speed down a hill before crashing about one kilometre away.
Justen Sheena is facing two charges each of impaired driving, dangerous driving, and possession of stolen property.
He is also accused of leaving the scene of an accident and obstruction.
Sheena will be back in court Thursday.
