
$2.00 a litre gas arrives in B.C.
Gas prices have hit a significant milestone in B.C. with some stations in Metro Vancouver up to $2.00 a litre for regular unleaded.
Vernon stations are all selling for either $1.74 or a $1.78 a litre, an increase of 24 cents or more this week, while Kelowna stations are averaging $176.9. The figures are according to gasbuddy.com.
Petroleum analysts have said the Russian invasion of Ukraine, along with rising transportation and delivery costs, are factors in the recent hikes.
