April 19, 1930 – June 1, 2020

Kay passed away peacefully in the early hours of June 1, 2020 at the Mount Ida Nursing home in Salmon Arm, BC. Kay was born in Calgary AB on April 19, 1930 and lived a good portion of her life there before retiring and moving to Salmon Arm, BC for the remainder.

She lived an active life being involved in curling, enjoying camping and hiking, fishing and boating and other activities. Kay also visited many countries in the world and enjoyed travelling. Kay was predeceased by her parents and one sister Alberta, her husband’s Roy Holmes and Bill Vetter. She is survived by her brothers Bill (Elanor), Jim (Sally) and Larry (Sandy), and one sister Marion, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, June 10, 2020 at 1:00 PM in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Pleasant Valley Dignity Funeral Home (250) 542-4333.
