John Krajnc

It is with great sadness, that the family of John (Ivo) Krajnc announces his recent passing after a courageous battle with cancer. John was born on March 15, 1938 to Martin and Maria Krajnc in Slovenia, and passed away on December 1, 2020 in Vernon BC. John will be missed by his loving wife of 32 years, Slavica Krajnc, his children Michele White (Grant), Tim Krajnc (Gayle), Tony Krajnc (Cathy) and Tom Krajnc, as well as his grandchildren. He will also be fondly remembered by his siblings, nieces, nephews and friends. John was able to visit Slovenia many times over the years to spend time with his family there. He was an avid reader and chess player before and especially after his retirement, and enjoyed many outdoor activities as well. He was a season pass holder at Silver Star for the past twenty plus years, and his other hobbies included, camping, fishing, golfing, gardening and winemaking. He enjoyed nothing more than a backyard BBQ and Bocce game with his whole family in attendance. Due to Covid, there was a small family service, with a Celebration of Life planned for the summer of 2021. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the BC Cancer Society.
