Kelowna Search & Rescue Locate Missing Man; Deceased

Kelowna RCMP along with the BC Coroner Service are currently investigating after members of the Kelowna Search and Rescue Team  located the body of a male in the McKinley Heights area early Saturday morning.

Kelowna Search and Rescue had been canvassing the area in hopes of locating missing person, Jordan MOONEY 24 yrs old, who was last seen in the late evening hours of Sunday May 27th, 2018 in the  Dilworth area of Kelowna BC.  Jordan MOONEY ’s Volkswagen Jetta was located abandoned in the McKinley Heights vicinity earlier this week.

“Kelowna RCMP have confirmed that there is no criminality in the death of the male located and therefore this investigation is being lead by the BC Coroners Office.” States Cst. Lesley Smith Kelowna RCMP  “Our thoughts and prayers are with the Mooney family and we ask that the public and media respect the  family’s privacy at this difficult time”.
