Record Heat

This week has been a record breaker as far as the heat in parts of the Okanagan.

Environment Canada says the temperature reached 30.6 degrees in Vernon on Tuesday, breaking the old mark for May 15th of 30.0 set in 1939.

Kelowna has set two new heat records this week, reaching 30.2 degrees Monday, breaking the old high of 30.0 set in 1973, and 31.3 on Tuesday, eclipsing the 30.6, also set in 1973.
