Man Pleads Guilty to Lumby Arson

A North Okanagan man has pleaded guilty to arson by negligence in connection with a fire that destroyed a mobile home in Lumby last year, according to a court clerk.
Trevor Stanley Luszcz, 34, made the plea during an appearance in Vernon provincial court on Monday morning.

He had originally been charged with arson damaging property over the fire which occurred at the Valley View Mobile Home Park on Mable Lake Road last September 1st.
Court documents show Luszcz has been sentenced to 52 days jail and two years probation for the arson. He must also pay a $200 victim surcharge.
Luszcs has also been given a month’s jail time for a breach of undertaking.
