Mobile Home Damaged By Fire

A mobile home sustained considerable damage after a fire in the Big Chief mobile home park on Okanagan Landing Road Sunday afternoon.

Captain Dan Walker tells Beach Radio News, the balcony and interior were on fire when crews arrived just after 5:30.

He says no one was home at the time.

“The cause is under investigation,” says Walker.

A crew of 12 firefighters were at the scene, and there was no injuries.

Walker says the fire inspector will be on the scene today to investigate the cause, but Walker says it did not appear suspicious.
