Budget Approval Delay For Spallumcheen

Spallumcheen Council has had to delay approval of its 2018 budget.

Mayor Janice Brown says councillors were also set to approve it until they were notified of a school tax change.

But the general budget increase doesn’t change.

“We are still at 2.46, which is two and a half. So we will do the final reading on Monday morning.
We’ve had to call a separate meeting for Monday morning just to do the final adoption of the financial report.”
