Evacuation Order Issued for Guichon Creek Mobile Home Park

As there is a danger to life and properties due to to flooding in Lower Nicola, Electoral Area “M”,  an Evacuation Order have been issued for the
following properties illustrated below.

– All units within the Guichon Creek Mobile Home Park located at 311 Merritt Spences Bridge Hwy 8; and
– 308 Merritt Spences Bridge Hwy 8.

Residents are advised to leave immediately and shut shut off all gas and electrical appliances, other than refrigerators and freezers.

If evacuees require support services for food or accommodation, please report to 1721 Coldwater Ave. Merritt, BC (across from Elk’s Hall, next to Cadet Hall.
