Work Resuming On Kal Lake Road

Crews are getting back to work on Kalamalka Lake Road in Vernon.

LB Chapman Construction will be working from Browne Road to the City border, starting Friday (Nov. 24) and continuing to December 22.

Motorists should expect intermittent stoppages to allow dump trucks on and off the road, otherwise two-way traffic will be maintained.

The four million dollar project to add a multi use path was suspended in August, with work on the final phase to begin in the spring, resulting in the road being shut down for about eight weeks.
