Parking Ticket Kerfuffle

Some local motorists got an unwelcome surprise when they found parking tickets on their windows this past Monday.

They had parked in city lots, believing the fees are not normally enforced on stat holidays.

Councillor Juliette Cunningham told council, it led to a lot of angry people.

She says the city needs to clarify its policy, and let the public know how it applies to stat holidays.

“We need to be really clear on that,” said Cunningham.
