Top 20 Under 40

The Greater Vernon Chamber of Commerce has teamed up once again with KPMG LLP, Community Futures and Economic Development to bring the Greater Vernon’s Top 20 under 40 back to Vernon for a third year.

Nominations for the 2017 awards will be accepted until October 20, 2017. Nominees can be entrepreneurs, executives, managers, or professionals in public, private, and not-for-profit sectors.

“We are looking for young professionals under the age of 40 years of age who are making their mark in the North Okanagan through business success and entrepreneurial leadership,” says Dione Chambers, general manager of the GVCC.

“We want to recognize those young entrepreneurs who are contributing to the overall improvement and economic growth of the Greater Vernon area.”

Starting October 23, winners will be announced over the course of four weeks. All nominees will have an article written and will be featured on the Greater Vernon Chamber of Commerce website.

Those being recognized as the Top 20 will also be celebrated at the Top 20 Under 40 awards event on November 23.

If you know a resident who will be under the age of 40 as of December 31,2017 of the Greater Vernon area who is excelling in their career, passionate about the community and has strong leadership skills then they are a perfect candidate for the Greater Vernon Chamber of Commerce Top 20 Under 40.
