Busy Drive Thru Breakfast

The totals are in for the kick off event for the local United Way’s big fundraiser of the year.

The 17th annual Drive Thru Breakfast was held at the Vernon Lodge this morning, people could get breakfast and make a donation.

Executive director Linda Yule says $11,200 was raised, which was up several hundred dollars from last year.

“Thank you all so much for your help promoting this event and for coming out and covering it,” says Yule.

The charity is raising money for dozens of community non profit groups and services that help, children. families and seniors.
