One person injured in Thursday afternoon crash

One person was taken to hospital after a crash occurred at a busy Vernon intersection Thursday.

Vernon North Okanagan RCMP and B.C. Emergency Health Services responded to a crash at the intersection of 32nd Street and 39th Avenue around 3:30 p.m. Oct. 15.

Police told Vernon Matters a sedan was making a left turn through the intersection when it was struck by an oncoming pickup truck.

EHS said paramedics transported the driver of the sedan to hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
