New pickleball courts open in Glenmore

It’s  been a long time coming but the new outdoor pickleball courts in the Glenmore neighbourhood of Kelowna are open for use.

Starting Thursday afternoon, residents were able to access nine new courts at Glenmore Recreation Park.

The City said the courts expand recreation opportunities in north Kelowna and provide additional playing capacity for the city’s growing pickleball community.

Locals will have noticed the nine new fenced in courts for many weeks but now they’re ready for play although just a few weeks before the end of the outdoor season.
