OneBC candidate named for Kelowna-Lake Country-Coldstream riding

B.C.’s right-wing provincial party has announced its candidate for a local seat in the legislature.

Alexandra Wright was named the OneBC candidate for the Kelowna-Lake Country-Coldstream riding in the fall provincial election.

Wright, who holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of California, Los Angeles, owns a full-service supply chain consulting firm with her husband in the Ellison community near Lake Country.

In an online post Wright said she believes in standing up for the community and leading by example pointing to rallies and campaigns within the community she has been involved with including “to oppose unlawful dumping, protect waterways, and take a stand against irresponsible development that threatens to harm the future of the Okanagan Valley.”
