A Coldstream Councillor is looking to continue work as an advocate for the citizens and community.

Jeremy Levy said he will run to retain his seat in the fall municipal election.

“You welcomed in a city kid as one of your own,” Levy said.

“You gave me the opportunity to represent you, invited me to coach your children in multiple sports, and allowed me a spot at the table regardless of my race, colour or creed. I am forever indebted to the people of Coldstream and Lavington.”

Levy was first elected in 2022, and said in the past term he brought a competitive drive to local government and being a voice for the community and residents, which he wants to continue doing in his second term.

“Coldstream and Lavington will not be pushed around on my watch,” Levy stated.

“I will continue to be the voice of the people for as long as they want me there.”

Levy’s campaign also has a focus on building a strong community, supporting active living, strengthening inter-jurisdictional collaboration, protecting natural resources, and advocating for the rural character and quality of live Coldstream residents value.
