Westside Daze brings four days of summer fun to West Kelowna

Jul 8, 2026 | 11:31 AM

A popular summer tradition is returning to West Kelowna this week with four days of free entertainment, family activities and community events.

Westside Daze runs from Thursday, July 9 through Sunday, July 12, bringing back attractions including the annual parade, midway, live music and an evening drone show.

The event, organized by the Westside Celebration Society, begins Thursday afternoon with the arrival of the Shooting Star Amusements midway, offering carnival rides, games and food vendors.

Live performances will take over the Annette Beaudreau Amphitheatre Friday evening, featuring local and regional acts including the James Hay Blues Band, Ben Klick and the Hillside Outlaws.

Saturday will feature one of the weekend’s biggest attractions with the Westside Daze parade starting at 10:30 a.m. The parade will travel through the community, beginning near Butt Road and Old Okanagan Highway before ending back at Butt Road.

Drivers should expect delays Saturday morning, with several roads closed along the parade route between 8 a.m. and 1 p.m.

After the parade, Memorial Park will become the centre of family activities, with children’s entertainment, inflatables, food trucks, vendors and community displays running through the afternoon.

The weekend wraps up Saturday night with more live music followed by a drone show over Memorial Park at approximately 10 p.m.
