July 14,1951 – 2026 Marvin left this world peacefully on May 6, 2026,we have lost a kind and compassionate soul who made friends easily and held his family close to his heart. “Marv” was a man who lived life to the fullest – a prolific storyteller, musician, builder/craftsman, fisherman and loyal friend to everyone fortunate enough to know him. He found joy in the outdoors – fishing, golf, gardening and especially time spent in Hawaii, where island life suited his free spirit well.
Marv lived life fully and passionately cherishing his family and friends. He took immense pride in those he loved and leaves behind his devoted wife and partner of more than 56 years Irene, his sons Ryan and Cody (Christina), his grandson Kanoa who brought sunshine to his days and his sisters Carol and Michelle. Marv’s passing leaves a void that cannot be filled. Those who know Marv will continue to celebrate his life through the stories he told, the music he shared and the countless memories he helped create. Marv would want his legacy of “talking story” to continue on. As one of Marv’s closest friends put so well “Marv’s stories will always be there we just have to make new ones now”. We will celebrate the life of Marv at a later date where family and friends are invited to gather, remember and honour a truly good man and amazing soul who has left a lasting impression on all who knew him. Aloha a Hui Hou – until we meet again.
