Crash Puts SUV On Its Side

There have been been major traffic delays on the highway through Vernon due to a two vehicle crash just before 3 pm.

Fire Rescue Captain Reinhard Mann says it was a t-bone incident which left a Jeep on its side at 32 Street and 35 Avenue.

“One driver from the Jeep is being assessed by BC Ambulance, and the other one from the auto parts car, appears to be fine. He’s out walking around,” Mann told Kiss FM at the scene.

Mann says firefighters had to remove the man from the Jeep who’s feet were pinned in the pedals.
