The Central Okanagan Regional Hospital District board has approved the 2026–2030 five-year financial plan, setting the stage for nearly $46 million in infrastructure projects across the region.
The plan includes $8.3 million in operating expenditures for 2026, $7.7 million for debt, and $15.7 million in transfers to reserves.
Capital funding requests total $23.9 million, a 5 per cent increase that will include continued investment in the Cottonwoods Long-Term Care project and upgrades at Kelowna General Hospital.
Officials said the plan will ensure local hospitals and care facilities continue providing safe, modern care for residents.
