Old chairlifts installed at Vernon’s new roundabout

Two old chairlift seats have been hung above the new roundabout.
The seats, donated by SilverStar Mountain Resort along with some financial contributions, have been installed above the new traffic control measure at the intersection of Silver Star Road and Phoenix Drive.
“It’s just one of those really positive pieces of art that adds to people’s understanding of what Vernon is all about,” Mayor Victor Cumming told Vernon Matters.
“It supports some tourism, it celebrates some of our identity, and creates a nice little piece of art in the centre of this roundabout.”
