Lane closed following crash on 25th Ave

An eastbound lane of 25th Avenue was closed Monday morning following a multi-vehicle collision.

The crash occurred around 9:45 a.m., and appeared to involve a black pickup truck rear-ending a white SUV.

Vernon Fire Rescue and B.C. Emergency Health Services responded to the scene and blocked the lane at the intersection of 43rd Street, near the Super Save Gas Station.

Unconfirmed reports claimed tow trucks needed to be brought in to remove the vehicles from the scene.

EHS told Vernon Matters that one ambulance attended the scene and but no one was taken to hospital for treatment of injuries.
