BC Conservatives set for sweep in Kelowna area ridings

Oct 24, 2026 | 11:17 PM

It appeared to be a clean sweep for the B.C. Conservatives in Kelowna area ridings Saturday night, as the party recorded a crushing and historic win over the governing NDP across the province.

Kelowna-Mission was, again, won convincingly by incumbent Gavin Dew with over 58 per cent of the vote, compared to the NDP’s Miriam Rycroft’s 28 per cent.

Dew had 13,582 votes compared to Rycroft’s 6,425.

BC Conservative in Kelowna-Centre, Kristina Loewen has a slender 132 vote lead on the night over NDP candidate Loyal Wooldridge with mail-in ballots still to count.
