Pride Month kicks off in the Okanagan with packed lineup through June 30
Kelowna Pride Month begins Friday and runs through June 30, 2025, under the theme Rise and Resist.
The annual event, organized by the Kelowna Pride Society, is the largest Pride celebration in the B.C. Interior, and is expected to draw more than 12,000 attendees.
The festival opens May 30 with Kelowna’s Next Drag Superstar at Red Bird Brewing. The Kelowna Pride March and Festival will take place May 31 at Stuart Park and City Park, followed by the official after-party, Fruitcake, also at Red Bird Brewing, featuring Canadian recording artist Bif Naked.
Additional events throughout the month include the All Wheels Welcome Ride for Pride on June 8, the Pets for Pride Parade on June 14, the Trans and Enby March and Festival on June 20, and the second annual Two-Spirit Powwow on June 28.
