Abused puppy on road to recovery

The B.C. SPCA is recommending charges against the former owner of Daisy, a six-month-old cocker spaniel from Kelowna.

Daisy was found locked in a dark closet, beaten, and covered in scars.

In a post on their website, the organization said Daisy’s early life was full of fear, trapped in a crate with only a scrap of fabric.

Thankfully, the B.C. SPCA rescued her after a tip from the public.

With time and care, the SPCA said Daisy is learning to trust again. She is now safe in a loving foster home.
