Upgrades to Kal Pier nearing completion

Progress has been made in the upgrading of the Kalamalka Beach Pier.
A report to Coldstream Council said concrete had been poured for the new Rotary Dedication sign at the Pier.
Additionally, installation of the Mobi-Mats, intended to improve accessibility to the pier and the water, were planned to be installed in the second week of May.
The report stated the Rotary Clubs of Greater Vernon were still planning a permanent display that would outline the history of the clubs and the pier at Kal Lake. The display will be presented to Coldstream Council for approval at a later date.
